cm/360 Calculator

cm/360 is the physical distance your mouse travels for a full 360° turn. Unlike eDPI, it means the same thing in every game — the true universal aim measure.

How cm/360 is calculated

Every game rotates your view by a fixed number of degrees per mouse count (its yaw value). Combining that with your sensitivity and DPI:

cm/360 = 360 ÷ (sensitivity × yaw) ÷ DPI × 2.54

yaw = degrees per mouse count at sensitivity 1; 2.54 converts inches to centimeters.

Worked example (CS2)

CS2's yaw is 0.022. At 800 DPI and sensitivity 1.0:

360 ÷ (1.0 × 0.022) ÷ 800 × 2.54 ≈ 52.0 cm

One full turn needs about 52 centimeters of mouse travel — a medium-slow setup typical for tactical shooters.

Interpreting your result

  • Under 25 cm — very fast; wrist aiming, common in fast arena shooters.
  • 25–40 cm — fast; suits aggressive entry styles.
  • 40–60 cm — medium; where most tactical FPS players land.
  • 60+ cm — slow; maximum precision, needs a large mousepad.

Common mistakes

  • Using eDPI to compare across games. eDPI scales differ per game; cm/360 does not. Convert via cm/360 instead.
  • Ignoring Windows pointer settings. If raw input is off or "enhance pointer precision" is on, your real cm/360 won't match the calculation.
