The conversion formula
CS2's yaw (degrees of rotation per mouse count) is 0.022; Valorant's is 0.07. To keep the same physical turn distance when moving from CS2 to Valorant:
Valorant sens = CS2 sens × (0.022 ÷ 0.07) ≈ CS2 sens × 0.314 The reverse direction multiplies by ≈3.18 instead.
Worked example
Your CS2 sensitivity is 1.1:
1.1 × 0.314 ≈ 0.346 Valorant sensitivity
At 800 DPI that's about 40 cm/360 in both games — your flicks land the same way.
Why cm/360 matters more than eDPI here
CS2 eDPI values (800–1200) and Valorant eDPI values (200–400) live on completely different scales. The game-independent measure is cm/360: how far the mouse travels for a full turn. Matching it keeps your aim identical; copying the other game's eDPI number does not.
Common mistakes
- Rounding Valorant sens to one decimal. Valorant accepts three decimals — 0.346 is meaningfully different from 0.3.
- Expecting identical feel in every situation. Conversion matches hipfire turn speed only; ADS/scoped multipliers and movement speed differences still change how the game feels.
