Valorant eDPI Calculator

Valorant sensitivity runs from 0 to 10, so raw sens values look tiny. eDPI (DPI × sensitivity) makes Valorant settings comparable across players.

DPI

Check your mouse software (e.g. 800).

Found under Settings → General → Mouse Sensitivity (0–10).

How eDPI works in Valorant

Valorant's sensitivity slider goes from 0 to 10 and is linear: sensitivity 0.4 is exactly twice as fast as 0.2 at the same DPI. Multiplying by your mouse DPI gives eDPI, the number players use to compare setups:

Valorant eDPI = Mouse DPI × Valorant Sensitivity

Worked example

You play at 800 DPI with a Valorant sensitivity of 0.35:

800 × 0.35 = 280 eDPI

280 eDPI sits right in the medium band where most Valorant pros play. A teammate at 1600 DPI and 0.175 sensitivity has the identical 280 eDPI — same aim speed, different split.

Typical Valorant eDPI ranges

  • 150–250 — low; common for dedicated anchors and Operator players.
  • 250–400 — the pro average band; most riflers and tournament players sit here.
  • 400–600 — high; fast flicks, large mousepad recommended.
  • 600+ — very high; rare at competitive level, wrist-aim territory.

Common mistakes

  • Copying a pro's sens without their DPI. 0.35 at 400 DPI is half the speed of 0.35 at 800 DPI. Only the product matters.
  • Comparing Valorant eDPI to CS2 eDPI. The games scale sensitivity differently — 280 eDPI in Valorant is not the same as 280 in CS2. Use the sensitivity converter to match your aim between games.

FAQ

What is a good eDPI for Valorant?

Most competitive players land between 200 and 400 eDPI. If you overshoot targets, lower it; if you can't comfortably clear close-range angles, raise it. Change one factor at a time.

Does scoped sensitivity affect eDPI?

No — Valorant's scoped sensitivity is a separate multiplier. This calculator covers your hipfire aim.
