The conversion formula
Valorant and CS2 scale sensitivity differently — each game rotates your view by a fixed number of degrees per mouse count (its "yaw"). Valorant's yaw is 0.07, CS2's is 0.022. Keeping the physical turn distance identical means:
CS2 sens = Valorant sens × (0.07 ÷ 0.022) ≈ Valorant sens × 3.18 The reverse direction divides by 3.18 instead.
Worked example
Your Valorant sensitivity is 0.35:
0.35 × 3.18 ≈ 1.11 CS2 sensitivity
At 800 DPI both settings give you roughly 40 cm/360 — a full turn takes the same mouse swipe in either game.
Why cm/360 matters more than eDPI here
eDPI is only comparable within one game. Between games, the only meaningful common denominator is physical distance: how many centimeters of mouse travel produce a 360° turn. Matching cm/360 preserves your muscle memory exactly; matching eDPI numbers across games does not.
Common mistakes
- Rounding too aggressively. Use at least two decimals in CS2 (e.g. 1.11, not 1.1) — the difference is a few percent of turn distance.
- Forgetting FOV and ADS feel different. Conversion matches hipfire turn speed, not zoom sensitivity or perceived speed at different fields of view.
